Windows 10: Recycle confirmation or Display delete confirmation dialog

Discus and support Recycle confirmation or Display delete confirmation dialog in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; The function is enabled but if I delete a file in file explorer, I don't get asked to confirm.     Recycle confirmation or Display delete confirmation dialog


    The function is enabled but if I delete a file in file explorer, I don't get asked to confirm. It deletes straight away. Can anyone help please?

    Delete confirmation dialog issues

    Recycle Bin's "Display delete confirmation dialog" option is unchecked, yet I still get a confirmation dialog when I try to delete one or more photos.

    How to Stop Recycle Bin Delete Confirmation Dialog

    I just bought a new Dell XPS 13 and even though the "Display delete confirmation dialog" box is
    NOT checked in Recycle Bin properties, I still get the delete confirmation dialog when I empty the Recycle Bin. I've checked the box, restarted, unchecked the box, restarted...nothing works.

    Original title: Display Delete Confirmation Dialog checked and grayed out

    In the November upgrade the dialog to skip delete confirmation in the Recycle Bin is checked and grayed out. How come???
