    Red VGA light on motherboard

I have a problem, whenever I turn my pc on it boots up fine. However there is no display on the motherboard, aswell as the fact whenever I turn my pc on a red vga light appears on the motherboard. I have already tried or attempted to reseat the gpu, swap out ram, attempt to update bios, and try a different gpu only for the vga light to still show. Every now and then the pc will post and my monitor will show display but it later crashes. My specs include Ryzen 5 7600x Asus tuf gaming 3070ti G skill trident z5 rgb 32gb ddr5 ram Samsung 980 pro ssd 1tb Corsair 750xGigabyte b650m aorous elite ax

  2. N8 - Disable red light video recording

I saw this in a web page....¿anyone knows how?

Yes it is possible to turn of the red light during the video shooting mode. What you have to do here is follow the below steps:

    • If you will press the Q and W from the keypad it will set the Flash LEDs on and off,
    • And if you will press the E and R from the keypad then it will set the red recording LED on and off,
    • Also if you will press the A and S it will adjust the focus,
    • And the D to correct the auto focus.

Computer All Of A Sudden Won’t Boot - Red CPU Debug Light ON

I have tried all I could at this point, from loading defaults, to bios flash ( blinks 3 red lights before stopping, tried numerous times to no avail ). And it won’t even let me update bios as loading into M Flash needs the PC to reset which ends up turning it off, not letting it load up again due to red CPU light appearing once more. It literally loads up sometimes and allows me to use it like I could before, then after restarting goes back to red CPU debug light. At first I thought it was the motherboard over all the other parts, now i’m second guessing for the PSU ( 600w Bronze EVGA ) as CPU may not be getting enough power to boot ? no clue at this point, also do not have spare parts to test PC so that’s out of the picture. Aside from that I have tried pretty much everything listed above plus more, I will write it down below in case anyone views this and types a suggestion I have tried. reset CMOS ( battery & jump start ) flash BIOS ( only 3 lights flashed ) reset CPU reapplied thermal paste replaced CMOS battery tested ram sticks reset GPU set bios to default double checked all cables and parts are not loose Thank you to everyone who wrote a suggestion.

    Corrupt Standard VGA driver

Out of curiosity, ....Does your Computer also have / contain CPU Integrated Graphics "OR" does the Motherboard you have contain its own INTEGRATED ONBOARD GRAPHICS ???

    • If it does i would suggest removing the Graphics Card that you have installed and try and boot from the Motherboards Integrated Graphics after attaching the Monitor to it.
( If your Motherboard or CPU does not contain Integrated Graphics try booting of just one of the PCI-E Graphics Cards that you have ).

If still no BOOT i would suggest for you to RE-SET the MOTHERBOARDS BIOS to its DEFAULTS and retry.

    More on that below.

    • Also check you MOTHERBOARDS BIOS as to the SETTINGS related to INTEGRATED GRAPHICS and DEDICATED GRAPHICS ( re: graphics card ).
    • It may be wise to note down your BIOS SETTINGS as i would suggest re-setting your BIOS to DEFAULT and do a re-boot.
    • Go back to the BIOS and now look in the section named something like ADVANCED BIOS FEATURES.
    • Look for DISPLAY ( Init Display First ) and set this to the PCI Slot which usually relates to the Motherboards Integrated Graphics ( VGA ).
On mine for example : Init Display First >>PCI Slot >> Set Init Display First to PCI VGA card.

This means that i will be booting from the Integrated graphics on the Motherboard.

See if that then enables you to at least boot back into Windows.
