Windows 10: Redirected printer printing double sided

I am using an iMac at home and logging in through Microsoft RDP to access my work computer. I have a Canon MG6620 printer. It is showing up as a redirected printer when I log in remotely to my work computer which is operating on Windows 10. When I print anything, it is printing double sided. I don't see an option in my printer settings on my Mac that is forcing it to double sided. In fact when I print from my Mac outside of the RDP, it prints fine, single sided. It's only when I remote log in that it is forcing anything I print to double sided. I don't see anything in the printer preferences to change this. I can only change it to print to black and white.


I tried looking at my remote connection set up and I don't see anything there either, so I am not sure what I am missing. Can someone please provide some help or insight as to what I can do to fix this. Right now, when I print, I have to print each page separately.

It depends on whether your printer supports double sided printing, choose to print your document, then chose Printer Properties, check on the different tabs on the resulting dialog for Duplex Printing, or double sided printing, if you do not find that, then
your printer may not support double sided printing

What is the Make and exact Model No. of your printer I will check if your printer supports double sided printing for you . . .

 

Double sided printing

I have an ASUS laptop running Windows 10. I'm trying to print double sided on a Brother 9330CDW. There is no option to print double sided and in the settings it says Duplex Unit not installed (this is greyed out so I cant change it). I can print double
sided on the same printer when using an Apple iMac. Any ideas?
