Windows 10: Reducing Eye Strain while working on Laptop/PC/Tablet using Display Settings

I observe that long hours of working on Computers can be tiresome for our eyes. There are

many solutions including the special computer spectacles which filter blue light. There is

also option on Settings -> Display -> Night light On


I also observe Night Light Setting -> Color Temperature at Night Adjustment is also made available.

The adjustment bar to the extreme left will make the screen orange and while on the extreme right makes it plain.

The Night Light on can be turned either day time or night time.


I observe the benefits for the eye based on these settings:

- Blue Filter spectacles for use of computers/tablets/smartphones/Laptops, requires that user wear the spectacles while using these devices without the Nightlight on and adjustments of color Temperature

- Night Light On during daytime/night time with Adjustment of Color Temperature closer to extreme left

These are tradeoffs and may be combined to derive long term benefits.

EASE EYE STRAIN

The easiest way to reduce eye strain is to first enable clear type, you can go to your search and type it in and the options should pop up. You can also use the scaling option and increase it to 125% that can be found in your display settings.

Is it safe to use f.lux software in Windows 10 to reduce eye strain at night

I am using my pc in night when the environment around my pc is darken. now a find a software on internet by HowToGeek named f.lux, i wan't to know that is that software is safe to use on windows 10 or it may affect the performance of windows and/or hardware.
