Windows 10: redundant programs

Discus and support redundant programs in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I have a couple of programs on my computer that are exactly the same. will that slow my computer down? does everything go through both programs?...     I have a

    couple of programs on my computer that are exactly the same. will that slow my computer down? does everything go through both programs?

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

    how to make sure i dont have redundent apps and programs

    1- Make a list of all the apps and programs on your computer.

    2- Find out what they do. (Search on the internet if needed.)

    3- When you come across redundant apps and programs, decide which one you will keep.

    4- Uninstall the rest.
