Do I need to buy another license key from Windows if I have Microsoft 365 subscription?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

windows 10 pro OS-procedure to get the same OS in case of buying a new system.

I am now running Windows 10 pro in my desk top PC. This OS up gradation I got it from Microsoft on line by virtue of my running Windows 7 Ultimate OS earlier. I have the CD for Windows 7 ultimate OS but do not have the one for current OS viz Windows 10 pro.
I think I will have the permanent licence for Windows 10 pro for one system.

My question now is, in case I buy a new system (desk top or laptop PC) and I would like to have this same Windows 10 Pro in my new system, please let me know the detailed step by step procedure (with clear explanation) to have the same in my new system especially
for the reason I do not have the CD for the same.

Kindly advise early.
