Windows 10: regarding sandisk cruzer blade pendrive

my new sandisk pendrive worked well a few times but then stopped working suddenly. when i insert my pendrive now it recognises that there's a device plugged in by making a sound and also shows up on my computer as USB drive(H) but that icon appears faintly. when i click on it, it says please insert a disk into usb drive H. here are the things that i tried

1. plugged it on other ports and other computers

2. tried updating the driver

3. on device manager the device shows up as generic USB flash disk USB device. i tried uninstalling the device

4. went to services.msc and restarted the plug and play

5. i havent recently changed my windows or reinstalled it or anything.

6. other pendrives work well


any help would be much appreciated

SanDisk Cruzer Blade 16GB not booting

hi, I tried to upgrade my Windows 10 os from 32bit to 64bit as I had x64 based processor but i tried doing that and it was working but it required a format so i switched on to windows 10 and got a backup of all my files then shutted down my computer and
tried to boot my pc with the cruzer blade but instead of booting the setup it booted the windows 10.

Please help

I have 3 SanDisk Cruzers, all 16GB and they work fine with 10. They show up as

SanDisk Cruzer USB Device under Disk Drives in Device Manager.

Did you follow the first link posted by @Barman58 "Cruzer Flash Drive not detected by Windows" One suggestion is to check Device Manager for device exclamation mark, if so refresh / uninstall the driver. I have a 128 GB Sandisk Cruzer, I'm not impressed by it's performance.
