Windows 10: Regarding Winow 10

We have bought 05 laptops HP440 G5 i7 Win 10 Pro 8133 from a firm. As are requirement was of SSD 256 the same was provided to us. When we received the laptops we were shocked to find that no operating system is installed in our laptops though Win 10 pro pro installed (factory pre loaded). The company said that as laptops comes with HDD and SSD has to be given the HDD on which the o[perating system was uploaded was removed.


They have neither provide us any product key but just a Recovery CD. Will Microsoft will take pleasure to tell us that

i) Can recovery CD can be used to install the Win 10 Genuine(original) on our laptops with SSD.

ii) Further if there is any other procedure to install the genuine Win on our laptops.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

I suggest you to try the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: Run the Update Troubleshooter on the computer.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Update. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Windows update.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.
