Windows 10: regardins windows +s web search feature and cortana

everyone,

I have experiencing the issue of not being able to access the web through the windows + s web search feature (bing search)

and secondly cortana cant hear me it keeps saying the internet and I are not talking right now.


I have tried factory resetting the device, reinstalling windows, changed regions & even tried a lot of troubleshooting, but the problem still persists.

Anyone here who can help, pls

Cortana only providing web search answers since upgrading to Creators Update and will not run my Programs

Cortana is integrated with search to make the experience better for users.

You may try turning off the web search in Cortana and check if it helps.



Kindly perform the below steps:

• Click on the Cortana Search box.
• Go to Notebook tab.
• Click on Settings.
• In Settings, Turn off the option Cortana can give you suggestions, ideas, reminders, alert and more.
• Also, turn off Search online and include web results option.

To be able to disable the Web Search when using the searchbox, you need to turn off Cortana. The searchbox will now say "Search Windows" instead of "Ask me anything." It will be more responsive and only show results from your hard drive or local network. To
do this, you can follow the steps below:

• Login to Windows 10 computer with your Microsoft account.
• Click on Cortana search bar.
• In the search box at the bottom, type Disable Cortana.
• Once the suggestions appear in the list, click Cortana & Search settings.
• Then turn off Cortana option.

Disable Web Search Results in Windows 10 Start Menu

Disabling web results in the search box depends on the version and build of your Windows 10. We suggest checking the Windows 10 version and build installed on your computer. To check the version and build, follow the steps below:

• On Cortana search, type winver and press
  Enter.
• A pop-up box will appear containing the version and build of your operating system.

Meanwhile, you can try these steps on how to disable web results in the search box:

• Click the search box in the taskbar.
