Thanks, it did not work but I did lose the ability to access files under my user account. It states I am block by an administrator. Trying to figure out how to get it reset. One problem always leads to another problem. LOL.

 

Are you signed in under an Administrator account? And how many Administrator accounts do you have?

 

I am the only user on my computer. I lost the ability to access services and now when I restart my computer I get the message:
OOBE Create Elevated Objest Server
CLSID-CA8C87C1-929D-45BA-94DB-EF8E6CB346AD
I can't do a restore,, so I guess I am left with doing a reinstall. Maybe I will get lucky and the initial error will disappear. LOL.

 

Where did you download your ISO file from? If it was not downloaded from Microsoft and was not downloaded recently, please download one from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...load/windows10.

If you can you may want to try a Repair install

 

I did not have to do a reintall. When I ran the above program, it took the admin ability off of my user name, I just had to fix it.

I would like to solve this issue before I do another re-install (I get it from Microsoft), as the last time I did it, the same error came back.

 

Try the repair install mentioned above. It has to be run from an Administrator account. It is not the same as a clean install and will leave most everything intact, just hopefully repair anything wrong.

Your above statement does not make sense.
Doing a reinstall formats the drive before installation, suggests your ISO was faulty.
If you have an M$ account and have synced to the cloud you could do a clean install, all your files and settings would be restored.

 

My thoughts exactly and why I asked where the ISO was downloaded from.

 

It is morning now and I followed your Repair Install instructions except for the disk cleanup - the error message is still the same - it seems like there is a problem with one of the updates, I think it is KB3211320. Here is a copy of my Windows Update Log (file to large - 2 logs) and copy of registry. First.logSecond.log

Other than that, I am not sure what the problem is. Hopefully someone else will be able to help.

 

KB3211320 is a servicing stack update from Jan 24. It replaced another from Oct 27th, which replaced another from back in Oct, and so on and so on. I would try going into Uninstall Updates and uninstall all of these he can find. Reboot and see if it fixes itself. He may have had one botched update that has tainted the rest.

0x80040154 is a typical 'class not registered' error message. It occurs when PC users try to register and Run a 32 bit dll (dynamic link library) Windows programs on a 64 bit version of Windows.

If the OP could do a WINVER and post the pic, it would help.

WIN KEY + R, type WINVER, hit enter. Post pic. Hope he doesn't have 32-bit and 64-bit stuff co-mingled somehow.
