    Registry key for Windows 10 horizontal taskbar width???


    Is there a tool or a way or does anybody know if there is a registry key that sets the Windows 10 horizontal taskbar width? It has always been at 100% of the screen resolution width that I know of; but I am wondering if there is a way to for example set the taskbar width to half the screen width, and centered.

    There's a really nice tutorial on the old forums -> Taskbar - Change Icon Button Width Size - Windows 7 Help Forums

    Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work for Windows 10. Is there a way to make the vertical taskbar as thin as the horizontal one?

    Taskbar registry key

    You can experiment to determine this.

    Download, install and run Regshot (free).
    Make sure your PC is idle.
    Create the first snapshot.. wait patiently.
    Now change the taskbar size
    Create the 2nd snapshot.. wait patiently.
    Click Compare

    The report categorises and lists changes to registry keys. It's normally not long.
