    Registry not taking effect?

I made some changes in the registry lately, but they still haven't taken effect. I rebooted my computer, changed permissions for the registry key, but they still don't work. I am very confused, this key has worked perfectly fine in the past, and I have no idea why it's not working now. I have two accounts on my computer, a guest account and an administrator account. I sometimes hack the registry to enable and disable my administrator account when my cousins come over (after all, I don't want them messing with my stuff and passwords don't stop them). I would go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SAM\SAM\Domains\Account\Users\000001F4 in regedit to do so, and then I changed the 11 value in 0038 to 10, and vice versa. It worked like a charm, but then I would have the problem of re-enabling the admin account, so I had to use the windows media creation tool to open command prompt and do it from there. And that's when the problem started, after I disabled my admin account I went back and changed the value like normal and then restarted my computer. I tried to log into my admin account and it said "your account has been disabled. Please contact your system administrator". So I went back and did it again. Same message. I went back and checked, but the value was still there. I tried to log in again. It still said the same message!

Please, someone tell me how to fix this. I really don't want to reset my computer if I don't have to.

(And that was also my only admin account. It was the built-in one too).

    :)

    Registry not taking effect?

    AMD FX OC'ers Club

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
