Windows 10: Regular BSOD while in games with EventID: 10010 Keywords: 0x8080000000000000

Hi everyone,


as said in the subject. I have Win10 x64 and get the following issue between 2 minutes to 2 hours into a game, tested it with various games and am quite at my wits end.

Windows 10 Pro The server {73E709EA-5D93-4B2E-BBB0-99B7938DA9E4} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout. EventId 10010?

Event Viewer System Log reports The server {73E709EA-5D93-4B2E-BBB0-99B7938DA9E4} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout. EventId 10010. The Event Viewer reports this error multiple times. Here's the Event Details:

I have not found the cause or solution for the multiple Event errors. I have error free SFC / scannnow. Can anyone point me to the cause of this error?

Random BSOD while browsing internet


BitDefender is nothing special. mwac.sys causes BSODs anywhere.

In that very thread, the suggested action apparently worked.

The storage and network filters of any third party antivirus can cause BSODs. Neither MBAM nor BitDefender is any special. For a regular antivirus, it may be shifted to an alternative; but MBAM has no alternative. So a clean install of the said program is the most feasible first step.
As far as the first step is not failing, it is better to not think for the second step. Because the BSODs are not universal, failure at the first step is not universal; and success at the second step is also not universal.
That is why I posted that my suggestion may work, or may not. Let us see where it goes.
