    My finger print scanner was not working although I updated the driver. I unistalled it, but wish to reinstall the ELan driver, what do I do? THanks for any help

    Yes. It is listed under Biometric devices as ELAN WBF Fingerprint Sensor. The device state says "working normally" (of course) and the driver update says the most current driver is installed and is working properly.

    Removing and reinstalling this was one of the first things I tried. Needless to say it didn't help.

    COBO C2 Finger Print Sensor

    We appreciate your update. We suggest trying the steps below:

    1.Download ELAN fingerprint driver 1.1.0.2111 for Windows 10 and extract it to a folder of choice.

    2.Go to "Device Manager" (right click on Start -> Device Manager)

    3.Find under "Other devices" ELAN fingerprint (or Biometric devices)

    4.Right click on it -> update driver software.

    5.Lead prompt to the folder where you extracted a driver from step 1.

    6.Your COBO C2 should be recognized now.

    Feel free to update us with the results.

    finger print not working win10

    hi

    I had an error in win10 and I recovery my pc from image file and the finger print of win10 just disappear I cant log in by my finger print the device manger do not show my biometric divice and the old divice driver softer is installing but not showen on
    windows programs list just whant to reset my finger print app on my pc thanks
