    Hello. I had reinstalled Windows 10 on a laptop that had 8GB ram and 1TB of HDD. My laptop died. I needed a boot disk and RAM chips. I got my computer back up and running again by reinstalling Windows version 2004. Then when I checked the HDD, it only has a max capacity of 75GB HDD. What do I do to fix this?


    The HP laptop is an HP 17-x114dx.

    It is possible that your
    HDD was unreadable
    causing the error message to appear. We recommend that you perform these troubleshooting steps and check if there are any changes:


    • Shutdown
      your
      PC.

    • Unhooked
      the
      HDD
      and
      turn on
      your
      PC.

    • Reconnect
      your
      HDD
      and
      restart
      your
      PC.

    If the issue persists, we suggest that you contact your
    laptop/computer's manufacturer
    for further assistance.

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

Within Storage it says 1.60GB used out of 931GB but opening the drive using explorer it's empty. This is with the options set to show folders/files enabled for the drive....
