Windows 10: Remote Procedure Call causing browser freezes.

My problem is about as simple as the title says, I will be using Opera (I use Opera because Google Chrome eats up RAM like nobody's business and Firefox used to delay my keyboard inputs at random intervals and it was frustrating) and suddenly, Service Host: Remote Procedure Call will suddenly decide it needs 40% of my CPU and spike up, causing my browser to freeze and not respond for several seconds. It happens about once every other minute.

My computer's specifications are as follows:

Intel Core i3-9100F Quad Core 3.6GHz

MSI Z390-A PRO

16GB TeamGroup DDR4 3600MHz

Zotac Geforce GTX1660 6GB GDDR5

Remote Procedure Call Failed, System Updates

Hi,

To help resolve your concern, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + R on your keyboard.
  
• Type services.msc and hit enter.
  
• Look for "Remote Procedure Call" and make sure that the status says "Started".
  
• Right-click on "Remote Procedure Call" and choose Properties.
  
• Under Startup type, select Automatic.
  
• Click Start, Apply, and hit OK.
  
• On the Second "Remote Procedure Call (RPC Locator)", set it to
  Manual.
  
• Restart your computer.

The "Remote procedure call" error might be displayed when a service called upon by Windows is not responding. Do you get the error message even after you restart the PC, I would recommend you to boot the computer in Safe mode and check if the issue
persists.

You can follow the steps suggested in this article to boot the computer in Safe mode:
