Windows 10: Remove Microsoft Account in Accounts used by other apps

I've accidently associated another Microsoft Account to my Local Administrator user account on Windows 10 and it doesn't let me remove it. There's no Remove button and I don't understand the reason.


I go to Change Account Settings > Email & Accounts > Account used by other apps, there I can see the two Microsoft accounts I've specified but there's a remove button only for the second one which isn't the one I want to remove.



Any idea ?

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

 

Undo Built-in Administrator Account tied to a Microsoft Account

Could it be that the built-in Administrator may just be signed in to the Store app with the Microsoft account?

If so, then you could reset the "Microsoft Store" app back to default to see if that may remove the association.

If not, then check to see if it may be listed using step 3 in Option Two below, and can be removed.
