Remove "some settings are managed by Org" in Windows Update

Another thread, in this section remove msg in Windows Update Solved - Windows 10 Forums, is marked solved so I started this one.
Win 10 Pro FCO .19 have the message in the title. Others have edited their reg for metered option; as you can see from screen shot I have different options in the policies. How they got there I do not know except for the "exclude WU drivers..."
Can I remove the managed msg by deleting the reg key "ExcludeWUDriversInQualityUpdate" DWord?

  2. my phone " keys in " some numbers while talking

As I said in my first post you can either try to update it's software to see if it cures it.

If it doesn't then your phone is faulty and you will need to get it repaired.

  3. my phone " keys in " some numbers while talking

i contacted nokia who replied :

Thank you for emailing Nokia Care.

I appreciate your feedback. However, at the moment the Nokia Software Updater does not support Nokia 6080 nor Nokia 6070.

In response to your email, there are no issues with Nokia 6080 nor Nokia 6070. Please take both phones to your nearest Nokia Care Point. The technicians will assess if a repair is required and advise if this may be covered under the warranty.

    ____________

went to carphone warehouse & explained the problem,

the lady i dealt with told me that this IS a problem she has seen over & over again.

because the phone was still within the 14day period they exchanged it for a different handset [for which i needed to fork out another load of £££'s. guess i should've spent more in the first place!!]

i asked what they will do with my returned phone,

she said it'll be added to the collection of them which need to send back to nokia.

perhaps nokia are in denial cause they havent had the stores returns yet?

    anyway,

i hope everyone else will be fortunate enough to get a replacement.

Remove "some settings are managed by Org" in Windows Update

    Hello chideock, *Smile

The ExcludeWUDriversInQualityUpdate DWORD is set to 0 in that registry key by default, so that wouldn't be the issue.

Since "View configured update polices" doesn't have anything listed, you might see if clicking on "Check for updates" in Windows Update may refresh and clear the "some settings are managed by Org" message.

You can remove all Windows Update policies, that should reset them to default.

    Code: reg delete "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\WindowsUpdate" /f reg delete "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\WindowsSelfHost" /f reg delete "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsStore\WindowsUpdate" /f reg delete "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate" /f reg delete "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\WindowsSelfHost" /f reg delete "HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate" /f reg delete "HKLM\Software\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsStore\WindowsUpdate" /f[/quote]

Ok did that and got this: "Prevent usage of OneDrive for file storage"-Enabled. That's the only one enabled. I did that awhile ago since I did not want to use OneDrive.

That policy wouldn't affect the message in Windows Update.

You might also check what TairikuOkami posted above to see if you may have manually set one of those polices in the registry.
