    I tried to change my payment and billing address in my microsoft account after moving to a different country.

    But the option for editing was unavailable, instead a message appears saying:

    "since this address is being used by your purchases and subscriptions, it cant be changed. add a new address and set it as your default to change this one"


    ok, so i did as advised, and added my new address and set it as my default. But i still can't delete the old one! and worse, every time i re-enter my microsoft account, the billing and payement default address revert back to the old one, and now every time i try to make a purchase, the CrossRegion error message pops up, so i'm blocked from making any purchases!

    I’m Rey, your Independent Advisor.

    I understand you want to update your billing address. Let's work on that.

    To update your preferred name and address for billing, shipping or taxes:

    1. Sign in to your Microsoft account.

    2. Select Payment & billing > Address book.

    3. If you’re updating an existing address, select Edit. If you’re adding a new address, select Add a new address.

    4. Select Set as your preferred billing and shipping address > Save.

    Note: The steps above may vary based on your country/region.

    Wrong billing address being charged in Windows 10 Store

    1. I received an E-mail from *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.

    2. It is an HP Pavilion 15-e037cl.

    3. The previous OS was Windows 8.1.

    I did purchased something from the store, but I am being charged to the wrong billing address, which was my previous address, and I already changed it to my current address on my Microsoft account. It also sent the email to another alias that I have on my email
    instead of the email that is on my Microsoft account.

    Hello, yesterday I bought a movie from the Windows 10 Stor app, and when I got the email with the invoice it shows that the billing address hey used was a diferrent one than the one showed in my Microsoft account, I have tried looking for where the wrong
    email address is being pulled from with no success, does any one have any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Oher than being charged to another billing address, I am being charged that state sales tax which is higher than the one I currently live on.
