Removing Bitlocker from my windows 10 machine, cleaning up my microsoft account for my Dell...

So my pcs was BSODing on me so I reformatted and reinstalled windows via the Dell support tool. Somewhere along the line it decided I needed to encrypt my machine not sure how I didnt notice it but it did. After upgrading it realized I needed a new harddrive. So ordered a new one and copied data over to new drive before I installed it. Crucial SSD. I installed the hardware and booted up easy peasy no issues, the last step from Crucial was to enable Momentum Cache. I did so and the machine rebooted.

As it came up I noticed it was doing windows recovery options. Then wham wanted my bitlocker key. So I logged into the MS website and I had two bitlocker keys! One was dated the date I had reinstalled windows the other was the day I put the new drive in the machine. Now unfortunately every time I boot up it wants me to enter the BitLocker key as it cant recover on its own, I enter the key it tries to repair and I am in an ever-diminishing circle.

Well back on old broken HD now, removing bitlocker so I can start the whole process over. My question is, IF I remove bitlocker before I start. Do I also want to remove the keys from my MS account? Those in no way are pushed down to my device are they?

    :)

Removing Bitlocker from my windows 10 machine, cleaning up my microsoft account for my Dell...

Strange Windows 10 User Account issue.

Unfortunately I had done those steps numerous reboots, it just, reappears for no good reason. The base account isn't even a Microsoft account, it's a local account.

I haven't quite tried the built in administrator account on W10, but so far in my experience on my own computer, the built in account seemed to have absolutely no more control than I did on my own.

It's just strange, I go in, it warns me twice about deleting the account, then it's gone. Reboot, and it's back?

EDIT: Just to specify, both command line and Netplwiz both say only HIS account exists on the computer, it doesn't list this rogue account. This is what I meant in my first post about the fact that even Windows doesn't seem to believe it exists, HALF the time. *Frown Removing Bitlocker from my windows 10 machine, cleaning up my microsoft account for my Dell... :(
