Windows 10: Removing Microsoft Outlook from Windows 10

How could I remove the flawed Microsoft Outlook from Windows 10, without removing the other Office programs?


Every month after updating Office the same story: Microsoft Outlook stops working.

I can't even log on, therefore I can't even remove it and re.install it, thus I've decided to use browser versions or other clients.


I saw threads about the issues resulting after updating Office, but no way to fix it (since it's not logged) or remove the app. Once it re-started working by itself after a week.


Any suggestion to remove the app?

it would've been great if microsoft added HEVC decoders, LAV filters along with other codecs with Windows 10, and developing WMP to be better than VLC, KMPlayer and such sorts of media players.

Nevertheless, this is good step for microsoft, by far.

This is an awkward problem to solve and one I don't think is worth the time and effort.

The OP would be better off either using a modern webmail service like gmail or outlook.com or using a modern email client like Windows Live Mail like FX-GMC suggested or Thunderbird from Mozilla. If nothing else, Outlook Distress was notorious for corrupting its data files and losing all your email in one easy step. Not worth it.

 

Microsoft signals end of Paint program

Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.
