Windows 10: Replacement media or downloadable ISO for Server 2012 Essentials

I wanted to get the install media for Server 2012 Essentials in case my customer can't come up with it in an emergency. It came pre-installed on a Dell PowerEdge server. On this download page, I see Server 2012 R2 Essentials, but NOT the non-R2 edition.https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/evaluate-windows-serverAny idea on how to get the proper ISO or order the replacement media.

server 2008 r2 inplace upgrade to 2012 r2 essentials?

I have less than 5 users, so I'd like to go to an essentials license when get off of 2008. I see all these docs about moving ro srndard from essentials, but can I do an in place upgrade to a 2012 ( or by steps to 2016 and use a essentials server license?
Or must this be a new install?

 

Windows 10 PRO and Windows Server Essentials 2012 Client Connector

In my case I upgraded with the Windows Essentials 2012 Connector installed. Since it was previously installed, all the entries were there and the ones I have all start with
Windows Server ..., so if you haven't installed the connector yet, then you need to do that and then hopefully it all works. (There about 8 entries that start with
Windows Server listed under the services on my computers.) I am also NOT using Windows Server Essentials 2012 R2, so there may be something different going on.

 

Server 2012 Essentials

I have a Windows Server 2012 Essentials but is stuck "checking for updates" This will not patch and receive any information. I have renamed the Softwaredistribution Folder.

I have run a SFC /Scannow - CBS Errors

Run a DISM / ...../Restore health - restored Corruptable Component but no luck since.

Anyone else having this issue or any ideas of how to fix the issues?
