Windows 10: Replacing intellitype in MS Mouse and Keyboard Center

Hello:


I need MS Mouse and Keyboard Center for my new Precision Mouse (only way I could "install" in).


But I need Intellitype 7 (not 8) for my old Natural Multimedia Keyboard 1.0A (grey, so I can see the keys .


Thus, my questions is, how do I remove Intellitype 8 from MS Mouse and Keyboard Center?


And can I then just install Intellitype 7 and all will be bliss?

MS Mouse and Keyboard Center not working with Windows 10

Since updating to Windows 10 the MS Mouse & Keyboard Center doesn't show my Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 anymore and therefore I can't customize my Mouse settings. I know my Keyboard (MS Comfort Curve Keyboard 2000) and my Mouse are both on the
compatibility list for the MS Mouse & Keyboard Center and they did work perfect in Windows 7. Is the MS Mouse and Keyboard Center compatible with Windows 10?

 

MS Mouse and Keyboard Center not working with Windows 10

Since doing a fresh install to Windows 10 Fall Creator's Update (Ent. Ed), Mouse and Keyboard Center 3.2 doesn't not see my mouse. I have an old Comfort Optical Mouse 3000. It does recognizes my keyboard,
MS Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000.

I tried old versions of Mouse and Keyboard Center (2.8?) to no avail.

Forced driver update on the mouse in the device manger to make it to be seen as a Comfort Optical Mouse 3000 instead of the HID default drivers. That didn't work.

The solution I came up with and the only thing so far that has work is downloading the Vista x64 version of IntelliType 8.2 and IntelliPoint 8.2. After installing them, I was able to make my regular button
customizations and the mouse is now recognized correctly.

i have all possible upgrades of Win10 and the latest MS Mouse&KBD Center 2.6.140

BTW MS Mouse&KBD Center 2.6.140 does not show the MS Wheel Optical Mouse (it does not show in Win7 either) and under this version I can not set customizable button for mouse at all, and as I mentioned above, I can not set customizable buttons under the programs running with administrative privileges, however Mouse&KBD Center 2.3.188 shows MS Wheel Optical Mouse... but again customizable buttons work only if program not under administrative privilege or some other compatibility mode...
