    Reporting Sound Glitch for DD Live and DTS Interact


    Dolby Digital Live and DTS interactive no longer work on Windows 10. If this isn't fixed VERY soon I will downgrade and go back to windows 8.1 until this is resolved. That is all.

    Anyway the only thing broken is the DD Live and DTS-Interactive encoding. SPDIF out works well in 2 Channel/24-bit. As for the SPDIF passthrough you must check in the "Supported Format" and also specify SPDIF passthrough in the player option. That way the
    processing would be done at your amplifier

    DD and DTS sound features not present on Windows 10

    Original title:- DD and DTS win10

    DD and DTS was to "fixed" on future updates but does not look like it has.

    Any analog source works fine but any digital does not.

    Win10 does not "push a signal " through the device unless

    there is a source active.

    The sound switching from the input surround sound channels to stereo

    does not work and only get a "no sound present" indicator on the receiving device..

    This was not the case on xp to win 8.1.

    So what is the darn issue here MS realy ??

    Same issue, no dolby in windows 10. playing any vid files using windows 10 media player just outputs pcm to my amp.
    And even edge also outputs pcm when testing a dolby clip.
    Also the netflix app only outputs pcm when the dolby soundtrack is selected.

    However, media player classic still works fine and outputs dolby to my amp.
    I've looked and cant see any way of fixing it in windows, This issue is a HUGE deal breaker.
