Windows 10: Repurposing an Old Mac Monitor

I recently received an old Mac monitor for free (photos included). I was wondering how I can connect it to my LG gram 15 laptop to use it as a second monitor. I tried plugging in the USB to my laptop but it didn't work. If anyone has any experience with these kinds of monitors or any leads let me know .

To address your issue with connecting a new monitor, please perform these steps:

• Plug in the old monitor.
• Uninstall the video driver, go to Device Manager > right-click on the video driver >
  Uninstall.
  
• Unplug the old monitor, then connect the new one.
• Turn on the computer, and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

ok , right click on Windows start button and click " Device manage "

Expand "monitor" and right-click on the monitor driver that doesn't work and do 'update driver'

Click on " browse for drivers on your computer " and " Let met pick from a list of avaible drivers on my computer "

Now select " Generic monitor " and NEXT.... Follow the steps.
