  1. Requesting to check Edge

    So, no 'Hi's now.

Actually, when I visited some webpages like Community, SharePoint, etc. today morning, I got a backfire from Edge- it showed the error code 'STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION' and I couldn't visit any webpages anymore in that Edge. It's up-to-date, I reset edge to defaults, and did whatever I could. Still received the error. So I uninstalled Edge, but when I checked the space in C drive, it showed my 107GB free, which was earlier 103GB free before uninstalling Edge.

This pointed out that the new Edge takes 4GB space, while the Properties of the folders of new Edge shows very little amount.

I suggest someone some expert to check if this statement is true or Edge does take up 4GB space and help me out.

The most funniest is, the new Edge, Chrome, and Firefox takes a lot of time to start SharePoint, which was made in Babylon.js, and the old Edge takes the least time to start it up.

    :)

  3. How do I disable Edge's built-in PDF viewer?

We suggest that you try updating Microsoft Edge to the latest version and check if the issue persists. Also, you can always provide feature requests and suggestions and report problems with Microsoft Edge by following these steps:

    • Type Windows Feedback in the search bar.
    • Type some keywords from your issue in the box marked Search for feedback, and press
      Enter.
    • If you find your issue, upvote it. If you don't find it, select Add new feedback, then fill out the form.

    Microsoft Edge Error HTTP 403

    Hi Jennifer,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I understand the inconvenience you are facing. Let me help you in resolving the issue.

I would appreciate if you can provide us the following information to help us understand the issue better.

    • Does this happen only with Microsoft Edge? Did you check with other browsers?
    • Did you make any changes prior to this issue?
    • What are the troubleshooting steps you have performed to resolve the issue?
I would like to inform you that 403 response generally indicates one of two conditions:

    • Authentication was provided, but the authenticated user is not permitted to perform the requested operation.
    • The operation is forbidden to all users. For example, requests for a directory listing return code 403 when directory listing has been disabled.
As of now, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

    Step 1:

I suggest you to check if you get the error when you try to sign in to your
twitter account sign in page through In private window.

    • Open Edge browser, select More (…) (At top right corner) from the address bar.
    • Click on New In Private Window and check if you get the same error.
    Step 2:

You may try to clear the browsing history in the EDGE browser and check if it help.

    • Open Edge browser, select More (…) (At top right corner) from the address bar, choose
      Settings.
    • Click on choose what to clear under clear browsing data.
    • Check all the options under clear browsing data page and click on
      Clear button.
Keep us posted on Windows related queries and we will be happy to assist you further.
