Windows 10: Require PIN when waking from sleep

Hi,

So I've configured my security settings to always require PIN when waking from sleep. Every morning i click my keyboard or mouse to wake from sleep and it opens right up, no request to enter PIN.

Anyone else come across this or figure out a fix?

Thank you for posting your reply. Apologize for the delay in response.

I suggest you to check which devices are configured to wake up the computer from sleep by following the steps below:

• Right click on Start icon and select Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type the command line below:

Powercfg /devicequery wake_armed

3. Check if the devices (Keyboard, Mouse, Ethernet cable) are listed.

If the system is not going to sleep and going to Hybernate, the only option to wake up is to press the Power button.

Surface Pro 4: Am I missing a setting for PIN after waking from sleep?

My SP 4 is set to sleep until an hour, then hibernate. It is set to require a password (acutually I use the PIN) to wake up. So if Lock the computer (Win-L), or put it in hibernate, or turn it off, it always requires my PIN. But if I manually select
Start>Power>Sleep, it wakes and does not ask for my PIN. I want to use a PIN upon waking from sleep, am I missing a setting?
