  1. Res API for Microsoft Update Catalog

    Hello all,

I am trying to find any way how to automatically download KBs from Microsoft update catalog. In our company we should deliver new patches for different versions of windows 1607, 1809, 1909,... I know what to download but do not know how. Is there any official way to do it programmatically?

I found some 3rd party sw but usually pretty old. I hope that there is sth official. Also I checked https://github.com/Microsoft/MSRC-Microsoft-Security-Updates-API/blob/master/src/README.md but this looks that gives only information what should I install but no API how to download the KB.

    Thanks for help in advance,

    Matej

    :)

    Microsoft Update Catalog API

Just a suggestion for a new feature.

Create a RESTful API so I can query the catalog programatically.

Allow me to send in KB numbers and get back information on that KB including any supersede information so I can follow a supersede chain to the end.

Allow me to send in description strings and get back any fix that matches that in its description.

Use your imagination on what types of queries could be posted by a user.
