Windows 10: Reset MAIL & CALENDER APP in W-10 PRO - What App's Data Will Be Deleted on a RESET?

Question: Does a RESET of MAIL & CALENDER APPdelete e-mail account pass words, personalize, settings and data?


Have multiple e-mail accounts individually configured with personalized signatures and text, etc. Will a RESET delete the signature data?

Done. Mine is fixed. The steps I took earlier, must of done the trick.

Mail and calender problems

I have a little used computer that stopped getting and seding mail. I backed up my c drive to an exteral and reinstalled. Not having a lot of memory i deleted some programs. When i reinstalled mail and calender apps they pop up then flash off the screen. Any suggestions would be appreciated. This is a windows 10 home 1909

 

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
