Windows 10: Reset Problem - Additional space needed

I'm trying to reset my laptop and it keeps telling me I need an additional 6.3GB of storage on my OS(C and to either copy my files onto an external harddrive then delete from the laptop or uninstall apps etc. Not sure what to do here as I don't want anything on the laptop that I have. I want it all gone. Please help

A corrupted boot system parameters is one of the possible reasons why you are having an additional free space is needed error when resetting your computer. I found a thread with the similar issue and one of our community members provide a solution that other

Hi,

I need to reset an Omen laptop after my son took control of it. I have no password.

When trying to reset it (removing all files), I get the following error message:

"Additional free space is needed on the drive where Windows is installed. Clear some space and try again."

But I cannot clear space without losing in...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.
