  1. Reset Windows 10 on computer, not activating

So I went to reset my PC in my BIOS, and afterwards of having it previously activated and running just fine, I no longer have it activated and the activation code my motherboard put into windows 10 by itself is no longer working. This was from a previous disk I had, but I lost it now and can't find it. I tried re-activating from my last reset, but windows 10 denies it for some odd reason. I called technical support to get this special code to re-activate my windows 10 from it's past activation, and the automated bot talks REALLY FAST so it's hard to understand what it's saying. Any help would be highly appreciated!

    :)

  2. Windows 10 fails to update

When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

Reset Windows 10 on computer, not activating

DOWNLOAD WINDOWS 10 NOW - Upgrade and ISO direct from microsoft

Click to expand... Yeah I went to that site, why do I need to buy a key?
    I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
    is that causing the problem?
