Windows 10: Resetting my laptop

My siblings received a laptop from a friend. They wanted to download a new game but didn't have enough space. They wanted to do a full factory reset in order to get rid of anything extra that may be stopping them from doing so (as well as the previous owner's personal stuff). When they found they couldn't reset without a certain amount of storage space, they took to deleting files. They deleted what they could that their device didn't warn them would harm the functioning of their system.


They couldn't free enough space. They asked for help, and I found there was a method in which you download some "Windows creation tool". The laptop wouldn't let me download it since it had nowhere to put it (they had deleted the downloads folder). Nobody in my family is particularly "tech savvy" and I just figured I'd take the issue to the question boards.


Where we stand is: seemingly unable to make any downloads, not being the admin of the device and not having the password, and not being able to reset due to lack of space.


Is there any way to factory reset the laptop at this point? Thank you in advance. The laptop runs on windows 10.

Multiple Issues After Resetting Laptop


Hi,

I recently reset my laptop and since then I've been experiencing a whole host of issues:

• Windows search bar doesn't work
• Shop app won't open
• Won't allow me to change location settings
• Clock/calendar on my toolbar is unresponsive when I click on it

Any ideas what the problem might be, please? Advice / suggestions are very much appreciated!

hey guys I'm trying to get clockgen to work on my laptop but can't get any of the plls to work, can you please post like exactly what steps I need to take to test each pll to see if it works? my specs are listed to the left
