Windows 10: Resetting my pc stuck at 74

I started resetting my windows 10 with keep files option, in HP Laptop 4 gb RAM. I selected the cloud download option. It went well and resetting pc reached 74 % within 30 minutes but it then stuck at 74% for 1 hours. The white dots are still rotating. I am worried what to do? I don't want to lose my files. Please help!"

I have successfully restoring Windows 10 with 'Reset this PC Remove Everything' option on
my ASUS Laptop. It is Intel® Core™ i7-3610QM CPU @ 2.30Hz, 16GB RAM.

Then I do the same on my desktop DELL-XPS Intel® Core™ i7-2nd generation CPU, 16GB RAM. But it stuck at ‘Resetting this PC 74%’ while the white points animate in a small circle. From the reset start to 74% takes only about 30 minutes but I have
wait 4 hours until now. I read

external USB-hardrive (as backup data files). I am also ready to wait the next 24 hours. DELL-XPS is my master PC which has worked perfectly before resetting. I have just wish to totally remove over 40 software and all files by reset Windows 10, and install
fewer to make the PC works even better. What happen if I after a day force DELL-XPS to shut down by hold on the power button, if it still stuck at 74%? Can I do something when I open it again?

Thank you very much for your detailed guides. My desktop DELL-XPS still animate the white points in a small circle with ‘Resetting this PC 74%’ for the last 10 hours. I will wait 1, 2 hours more then start your steps. As I understand the step
1, is it correct that when I power down the desktop, wait ½ hour, turn on again, I still have my Windows 10 as before resetting, or at least I can see and read something? I am afraid that the screen will be black because Windows 10 has been removed from hard
drive through the last 74% resetting.

 

PC Reset taking almost 24 hours and is stuck at 74%

I decided to do a reset and followed the instructions, it took almost 6+ hours to reach 74%, I left it over night (13 hours later) and it is still at 74%. What can I do??? By the way, was using Windows 10.
