Windows 10: Resetting Windows 7 / 10 PC?

Discus and support Resetting Windows 7 / 10 PC? in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; Burn it at the slowest possible speed.     Yes, but there's an affordability limit too. Resetting Windows 7 / 10 PC? :) That stuff gets expensive. Thinking in terms of most bang for the buck I can afford.

    The PC you just got will never use a ssd`s full potential as the motherboard only has SATA2, 3 Gigabit per second ports.

    To see the full potential you need SATA3 6Gbps ports.

    But a ssd will be better then any hard drive.

    Hmm... ASUS F2A55? The PDF says it has SATA 3 connectors on it. If that's the MB I have. I'm afraid to open the case - the warranty thing...

    I've got 3gb of Win7_HomePrem_SP1_English_x64.iso
    burned on my dvd in that drive.

    But I changed the boot sequence and apparently it won't boot with that - it goes to the Windows 10 drive. What am I missing?

    I have no idea, did you use the program I linked, and did you burn it at the slowest possible speed ?

    Not clear on what that is, but I need to use some kind of process on the Win7_HomePrem_SP1_English_x64.iso that I downloaded, to get it onto the DVD in bootable form.
