Windows 10: Restart too slow

    Restart too slow


    My laptop, win 10 pro, restarts very very slow, but quick in shutdown and then start. It use just one SSD and should have been restarted in a few seconds. But yesterday I discover that if I click restart button, after it turn off the power, the external keyboard‘s light was on but the laptop was black screen and the fan was working, 1 min later the logo appear, which also takes about 1 min, then the loading circle appeared and start, The whole restart process almost takes about 2-3 min, but if I shutdown 4 s and start 8 s, the whole process takes about 15 s

    Constant script errors and slow loading pages in 10 internet explorer 11

    I have done the steps listed above. They have not helped and I am still getting constant script errors, along with slow loading pages. Are there any other suggestions?

    Thanks for your patient help and analysis, zbook. I'll step through some of your suggestions over the next few days - there's a lot to do and some look a bit hairy! That is, for a PC that is working sweetly right now...

    Meanwhile, as requested in the BSOD thread (sorry, I misunderstood and posted there by mistake), I've attached both ZIP files.

    One step I did try right away was to answer your question about whether my BIOS is up-to-date. I had no success at the AMI site but did get some info from this commercial site:
