Windows 10: Restore computer to earlier date

Discus and support Restore computer to earlier date in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; Somehow my outlook e-mail account settings pop.mail, etc got messed up, and I cannot receive/send e-mail from my desktop.     Restore computer to earlier date


    Somehow my outlook e-mail account settings pop.mail, etc got messed up, and I cannot receive/send e-mail from my desktop. Still works on I-PAD and I-Phone. I thought restoring the system to an earlier date might work to resolve this. However, when I go to the Control Panel, recovery, restore, etc. the only date available is yesterday and I don't see a way to set a new date, such as a few weeks ago. Any thoughts on how to do this?

    restore computer to earlier date

    The only way to restore your computer to an earlier date is to restore a backup image that you created on that date.

    The only way to restore a file or folder to an earlier date is to restore a backup of the file or folder that you created on that date.
