    Restore from Backup on External Hard Drive


    I had to send my laptop to get repaired, so I backed up my laptop onto an external hard drive. I have gotten my laptop back, and as expected, everything is gone. I am trying to restore from my backup, but it does not seem to be working. I created the backup with Windows 10, so "Go to backup and restore Windows 7" is not applicable. I click "more options" under Backup Using File History since that is how I created my backup, and it shows that I am using my external hard drive. I scroll to the bottom to "restore files from current backup." However, a file history page comes up, and this is whe

    Free hard drive backup/restore program?

    I am looking for a free (freeware) program that will back up and restore a hard drive. I'm looking to clone a few external hard drives. If the program will backup the used space instead of the whole drive this will be awesome! Thanks for any suggestions.

    Backup and Restore not finding any backup in External hard drive

    Hi!

    I made a backup of laptop on my external hard drive before replacing the internal hard drive. Now that I've reinstalled Windows on the new drive, I want to restore the backup. Unfortunately, the Backup and Restore in the Control Panel won't recognize that
    I have a backup in my external hard drive. How do I restore my backup? Here's what's on my hard drive:
