Windows 10: Restore previous bootloop

    Restore previous bootloop


    My machine is stuck in a recurrent boot loop where it tries to restore to my previously installed version of windows.


    I have given it an hour to try to resolve on its own


    I have then tried previous solutions to ty to get to safe boot to repair including the 3 successive power off and on to get to repairs - didn't work


    I have tried booting from my installation disk (original win10 x64 home disc) if I leave hdd/sdd in boot option at lower priority than disc I get press any key to install then back into restore loop


    If I leave just a hdd and install disc in boot list it tries to install then drops back to UEFA bios screen


    How do I get my PC back after microsoft's unrequested update has stopped me from being able to use it ?

    How to restore a text document to its previous form?

    Have you tried saving a new document not following the same steps you did prior to this concern? If so, did you experience the same issue?

    In the meantime, kindly follow the steps below:

    • Right-click on the text document.
    • Choose Restore previous versions.
    • Go to Previous Versions tab.
    • Look for the previous version of the document.
    • Choose Open or Restore.
    • Click on Apply.

    The steps will allow you to browse all previous versions of the document.

    Windows 10 Bootlooping

    My Windows 10 Asus is stuck in a bootloop after failing to install an update. The computer restarts, displays the message "Restoring previous version of Windows", and then restarts again. Is there any way to stop this?

    When an update to a newer version of Windows 10 is not successfully installed the device will automatically rollback to the previous version. If the device is stuck in a loop of restoring the previous version of Windows, this could be caused by system files
    that got corrupted. For us to resolve your concern, kindly answer the questions below:

    • Were there any other changes made prior to the issue occurring?
    • Were there any error messages that showed up when you saw the restore loop?
