    Restoring backup

    Hi
I have windows 10 installed on an SSD.

I backup the entire SSD using Macrium Reflect Free. I now want to restore the windows 10 installation.

Do I need to restore the entire SSD or can I just restore the C partition ?

    Whats the best way ?
    Thanks

    :)

It is just the design Natesh and hopefully that will change so WiFi can be used. If you need to do a restore of a backup, unless you are in a good connection area it is difficult to do.

Why can i not restore my backup once the phone is switched on and why do i have to use the data package to get my backups and no WIFI?

Should be enough, although I always just do the whole disk, as those couple gigs might take 10 seconds longer.

Thanks - I'll try C: first and do the full disk if needed.

You're welcome. If you have a D: (data) partition, like a laptop user, of course you want that up-to-date, so being able to do just the C: partition is a good feature on the free version.

I always do a COMPLETE restore with Macrium, as I notice the other partition, #1 partition besides C: says for example 338MB yet the restore image say it's 312MB, so data must be getting saved there, so good to backup and restore ALL partitions that are connected to C: So I always backup and restore all 4 partitions connected to C:.
