    Restricting Sharing of Networked Files

I have two computers, Computer A and Computer B. Both are Win10 Pro. They are on the same LAN. Each has multiple users. I do not allow identical userids on different systems. A recent ransomware incursion used identical IDs to access multiple machines.

I want to share "File1" , owned by user John on Computer A, with only user Fred on Computer B.

Is there any way I can do this? I have tried all sorts of sharing and security permissions settings, to no avail.

The only things I have found to work are "Everyone" permissions, and identical id/pw combinations on the two systems, both of which I'd like to avoid if possible.

    :)
