Windows 10: Retrive photos

Hi my name is Dereck and my mom had a old laptop it was operating windows home vista now my mom took it to a repair shop and they upgraded the sofware to windows 10 and all her photos and videos where gone is their a way to retrive the photos and videos thank you

Lost default photo viewer after profile rebuild

Thanks Brink. I've tried those steps before i started searching Google. After the profile rebuild i don't have the Photo app listed to choose to make it default in either the system settings for default apps or the Open With option.

I can't even find it doing a search. Seems to have been removed somehow with the profile rebuild, which doesn't make sense.

Might be helpful to list what i've done I've done the open with check, the choose default program in the system menu, tried that in device manager default programs also. I've checked the programs and features Turn windows features on/off and it's not listed there (never thought it was but that was a suggestion), searched the MS Store, it's not listed there either.

I don't like playing in the registry unless i have defined steps and haven't found anything for this yet, just the Win7 version like in my OP.

 

Multiple Photos

We suggest that you follow the steps below to delete the photo through Photos app:

• If you’re looking at your list of photos in Photos app, select the photos by clicking on checkbox on the photos you want to delete. Click
  Delete icon at the bottom right corner to delete.
• If you open a photo, Tap or press Delete
  key from keyboard.

about retrival of photos saved in photo locker app

I have used this photolocker app in mylumia device BT now I switched to an androidphone because i lost my lumia. So can I retrieve my photos which I had saved in my lumia using this photolock free app? Is there any ways to retrive them please let me know..
