    Hello. Recently I have found out that my audio is reversed in every headset. The weird thing is that it's only reversed in games for example when someone shoots infront of me in CS:GO it sounds like it's from behind. I've even tried using different headsets but the issue still remains. I don't really know what to do anymore except for reinstalling windows. I have the latest windows update and the latest drivers but still something is wrong.


    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    i would also recommend looking at the Audio Technica m50s if this is your first step into audiophile headphones.

    most of the cans you listed will also need an amp to push them.

    Audio is reversed.

    My headphones (Astro A40) have been playing audio in reverse lately (audio from left in right ear and vice versa). This is extremely annoying and im not sure how to fix it. I have a gigabyte motherboard with realtek HD audio and my driver version is 6.0.1.8036
    and the codec is ALC1150. thank you for the help in advance.

    This may be caused if you have a reversed connection in either the headset cable or the headset itself. To better assist you, kindly provide us these details:



    • Have you made any changes on your computer prior to the issue?
    • Have you installed the latest Windows updates?
    • Are you using a splitter?
    • Do you also have other device connected like a microphone?

    Since this is highly a hardware related issue, we suggest that you contact your device manufacturer to check on your headphones.

    We’ll keep an eye out for your response.
