    revoke lock pages in memory on 64 bit machine


    I was tinkering around with a group policy setting in windows 10 pro do to better chance of performance of my system The setting I tinkered with in the group policy settings was lock pages in memory the groups and users I selected are in the picture attached. Since the lock pages in memory setting from what I read I mainly for 32 bit operating systems? And seems like it would work better on xp will revoking this permission now cause problems on my system? Or am I okay to revoke the permission? Any info about lock pages in memory is welcomed

    Windows 10 32-bit version running on 64-bit machine? Can I install 64-bit version and get improvement in performance.

    Also, Why can I not get all my memory used? only 2.89MB used of 8MB installed?

    I would suggest you to install the media creation tool from the link below and check if it helps:

    Download Windows 10

    If issue persist, I suggest you to run Memory Diagnostic tool and check for the hardware error.

    Follow the below steps:


    • Type Memory Diagnostic in the search area in the task bar and select
      Windows Memory Diagnostic.

    • Select Restart now and check for problem.
