Windows 10: Ridiculous!! "Once your device is ready"!! Feature Update to Windows 10 version 2004

Microsoft clearly tells you it's your fault......


"The Windows 10 May 2020 Update is on its way. We’re offering this update to compatible devices, but your device isn’t quite ready for it. Once your device is ready, you’ll see the update available on this page. There’s nothing you need to do at this time."



"your device isn’t quite ready for it"... "Once your device is ready"... "There’snothing you need to do at this time."

Not even praying?.... Await divine intervention?.... Buy a new PC?


The notification should read....

"The Windows 10 May 2020 Update is on its way. But we’re unable to offer this update to all devices which may include the one you migrated from Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 to Windows 10 despite your device being compatible at that time. If we ever get round to fixing the issues Windows 10 is having running older drivers you’ll see the update available on this page. There’s nothing youcan to do at this time."

Hi,

If your device is working fine in Windows 7/8/8.1, I would suggest you to try the steps provided in the article mentioned below and see if it helps you to fix the issue. Though the article is for Windows 8.1 but steps holds good for Windows 10 too.
