  1. Right Click freezes explorer Windows 10 Pro v. 1909 Build 18363.1082

    Greetings all:

I have recently rebuilt my laptop, prior to rebuild and post having the same issue.

When Right clicking in explorer, be it file or folder explorer locks up.

This only happens when I right click on a folder/drive in explorer and select open in a new window.

The new window locks up when right clicking anything.

I can return to the original and right click away to my hearts content, but the one that is spawned by a right click and new window locks up.

Here is what I have done to attempt to resolve.

    Uninstalled Video driver

Disabled all 3rd part context menu handlers.

    Ran sfc

    Ran dism online repair

None of the above has done anything to resolve the issue.

Any help and or suggestions on where to go from here would be greatly appreciated.

    Pat

    :)

  3. Windows 10 Full Update 1909, 18363.657 Build 18363

Received notice, on my computer, that I needed to take the free update to windows 10 before my current version expired.

I updated, the whole OS on 02/23/2020. Specs:= 1909, 18363.657, Build 18363. I now CANNOT change my default browser identification. Microsoft Edge is set as default, surprise, and I can't seem to change it to anything else, e.g. Firefox

    Suggestions???
