    Right side of window slightly cut off in Windows 10


    I installed Windows 10 pro and the right side of my window is kind of cut off. The button on the bottom right side of the screen to show the desktop is kind of cut out of view, and my mouse disappears almost completely when I slide my mouse to it. This doesn't happen when sliding my mouse to the left side of the screen. Anyone know what causes this?

    I updated to the latest Nvidia driver for my graphics card and the latest chipset drivers. I'm not sure what's going on. I've attached a screen shot. I've tried to adjust desktop size and position in the Nvidia control panel switching between the gpu and display for scaling. It also happens on another display attached via HDMI.


    GTX 980 gpu
    Windows 10 Pro 64bit

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
