Windows 10: RIP Listener

Guys, can't find how to install RIP listener.

I don't have it neither in a list of Windows Features nor in Optional features

Was it removed completely?

Hi,

We suggest that you perform these steps and check if the issue persists:

• Press "Windows" + "E" button on the keyboard.
• Go to "View > Navigation pane" and select "Show libraries".
• Now in the navigation pane, right-click on the "Music" library under "Libraries" and select "Delete".
• Now right-click on the "Libraries" and select "Restore default libraries".
• Now try to rip.

RIP listener - routes not working properly

The domain server might have a connection regarding your concern with RIP Listener. However, we don't want to assume anything yet until we isolate your concern by providing the answers to these questions:

• Are you connected to a domain server?
• Which operating system are you using?
• Have you tried to coordinate with your ISP?

RIP listener - routes not working properly

Windows 10 Home, all updates installed, 2 network connections. Wired ethernet to network 192.168.13.0/24 and wireless to network 192.168.14.0/24. Default route to 192.168.13.1. Router 192.168.14.1 on the wireless network advertises routes via RIP. RIP listener
feature is enabled but does not work properly. After starting/restarting RIP listener routes appear in routing table but are lost after 5 minutes. Restarting RIP listener brings routes back.

Removal / reinstall of RIP listener did not help. Router 192.168.14.1 has default timer settings, update every 30 seconds, timeout after 180 seconds.

Having an application running over the connection has no effect, routing information is still lost. Wireless connectivity is very good, signal strength excellent.
