  2. Windows 10 Roaming Profile Vs UE-V

I an in the process of upgrading our Windows desktops from Windows 7 to Windows 10. In our current Windows 7 environment we use Vmware Horizon for our VDI. We are also using Roaming Profiles and Folder Redirection. I am reading conflicting information
that Microsoft is moving away from Roaming Profiles in favor of UE-V. I am also hearing the UE-V is falling short when compared to RUP. I was wondering what other people are doing when it comes to upgrading to Windows 10 and needing a solution to allow
end used "Profiles" to follow them around on different Virtual Desktops.

Thank You So Much in Advance for your FeedBack.

  3. Quick Access bar

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

We would be glad to help you with the issue you are facing today. I understand the difficulty.

    Remove items from Quick access.

I would suggest you to follow the below steps.

    • Select the option “unpin from the quick access”

To pin items to an item already on the quick access bar.

I would suggest you to create folder in the desktop screen & place all the files or folder which need to pin to the quick access.

    • Open the quick access.

    • Right click on the folder & select the option “pin to quick access”
