    Root media 0000, 0001, 0002 unkown driver this the solution!!!


    I found the solution for ROOT\MEDIA\0000, 0001, 0002 too missing driver is Ansoft Virtual Sound Device. Whoever installs Any Video Converter must install this virtual driver. So this is the missing driver! It's nothing else. It took me a lot of time and installations before I found what it was. In windows 7, 8.1, 10, 11 can you try!I hope I have saved the time for others who have not succeeded so far!Hy!

    Hi,

    Thank you for your suggestion. I tried it but the old "an error occurred while files were being copied :0001 0002" came back again.

    I can upload from the CD-ROM and the printer function is working on the MG4250 but the MP drivers wont install for the scanning function. From the Canon web site, I can download the necessary drivers for the scan function but again drivers from the web site
    wont install with the 0001 0002 message coming up again.

    Does anyone know what the error 0001 0002 actually means?

    I think there is some kind of conflict going on what I haven't a clue!

    Thanks again for you interest, any other thoughts gratefully received.

    Can't install the CD-ROM for my Canon Pixma MG2400 printer/scanner because an error message comes up during MP drivers installation. Error 0001 0002 - An error occurred while files were being copied. I have Windows 10 OS. Can someone help me to fix it?
