Windows 10: rotation of laptop error

hello. i have a hp x360 pavilion i3 and it shuts down if i move the screen too much. even when i put it into sleep mode and close the top, it shuts down completely and doesnt restart. even converting into tablet mode shuts it down even before i completely rotate the screen.


if i rotate the screen before starting the computer and use it , still touching the screen more than thrice shuts down the whole laptop. this makes my work very difficult and a lot of my unsaved data that i am working on gets lost. please help me as soon as possible as i have a lot of work pending due to this.

Why does my screen not rotate?


The auto rotation lock feature is turned on by default in Windows 10. Use the following steps to turn off this feature.

1. Place the tablet into Pad/Tablet mode.
2. Click the Start
   
   menu and select Settings.
3. Click System.
4. Click Display.
5. Scroll down and toggle Lock rotation of this display to OFF.

• Have you checked on the action center if there is a Rotation lock option?

In the meantime, we suggest that you check the Screen Resolution display to check if there is a setting to allow the screen to auto-rotate. Here are the steps:

• Mark the checkbox beside Allow the screen to auto-rotate option if possible.

laptop wont flip or rotate aftervupgrade to windows 10

• after I upgrade to windows 10 my laptop wont automatically flip or rotate. I check the rotate lock and it is unlock. Can anyone help me?
